Bioresonance is a fascinating alternative therapy that has gained immense popularity in the realm of complementary medicine. Put simply, it makes use of electromagnetic frequencies to stimulate the body's natural healing processes resulting in a non-invasive holistic approach to health and wellness.
What Is Bioresonance Therapy?
First invented in Germany back in the 1970s by Dr Franz Morell and Erich Rashe, Bioresonance Therapy (BRT) is a type of energy treatment that utilises the electromagnetic frequencies coming from the human body to detect imbalances. Based around the core principles of acupuncture and its associated meridian points, bioresonance is formed on the basis that electromagnetic waves of unhealthy cells within the body will emit altered frequencies. Logic follows that returning these waves back to their original frequencies will aid the body in returning to optimum health.
Bioresonance treatment is a gentle, non-invasive and painless therapy utilising specially designed devices such as the BICOM bioresonance machine. This type of complementary treatment is currently the main type of alternative medicine used in Germany and many parts of the world and has been continually developed and improved with the aid of many doctors and non-medical practitioners around the world.
How Does It Work?
To understand the science behind Bioresonance, it helps to understand that scientists believe all life forms including the planet itself operate within their own vibrational frequencies. This means that even when objects appear to be stationary they are in fact vibrating and resonating at various frequencies [1].
From this we can safely assume humans are essentially vibrational beings and even the earth itself emits a measurable frequency (commonly referred to as the Schumann Resonance). In this busy world it is likely that these frequencies could be affected by any number of environmental and physical properties. In fact, research [2] has shown that changes in the health of cells could be directly influenced by the kind of vibrations they are exposed to. It is therefore not a significant leap to assume that many forms of illness could result from the effects of less than optimal vibrations experienced within the human body.
Based on these scientific theories, Bioresonance machines work by identifying the existing frequency oscillations (electromagnetic waves) in the body analysing and then strengthening or minimising them to aid the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Therefore bioresonance devices are essentially built to read these anomalies in these vibrational frequencies and detect the presence or absence of frequency patterns.
For example, a liver that contains pathogens might have a disturbed frequency pattern coming from the cells partly due to the pathogens themselves who will have their own frequency range and partly due to the disharmony within the organ itself. These various frequencies are able to be detected by the BICOM bioresonance machine via applicators placed in various parts of the body along with the addition of bodily fluids such as blood and saliva. This information is analysed in the BICOM device and all good information is strengthened, while harmful frequencies are corrected with both then being returned to the body to aid in healing.
Is Bioresonance Safe?
Bioresonance is considered a natural complimentary therapy that manipulates beneficial low frequencies that are naturally present in our body’s to aid natural healing. It is painless, drug free, safe and non-invasive, making ideal for young children and the elderly.
To date, bioresonance has not been found to cause any side effects, it is often described as a gentle, non-invasive and painless procedure. The main concern for some health professionals at present is to emphasise bioresonance is best looked upon as a complementary therapy while continuing other medical treatments.
Does Bioresonance Therapy Work?
Although research is limited regarding how effective bioresonance is in diagnosing and treating health conditions, there are some promising studies and results emerging as time goes on, see below for a quick summary of what bioresonance can be used for and the associated research.
Some studies suggest bioresonance can be used as a complementary therapy in the treatment of the following:
Depression. When compared to traditional selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor medication bioresonance is considered to be statistically significant in the reduction of symptoms. “Bioresonance, an alternative therapy for mild and moderate depression” 2022 February 4th. National Center for Biotechnology Information/Pub Med.
Stopping Smoking. According to the findings from these two studies, bioresonance therapy is clinically effective in smoking cessation. “Evidence for the efficacy of a bioresonance method in smoking cessation: a pilot study” 2014 August 5. National Center for Biotechnology Information/Pub Med and “Evidence for the Efficacy of a Bioresonance Method in Smoking Cessation: A Pilot Study. Research in Complementary and Classical Natural Medicine 1 August 2014.
Unspecified Stomach Pain. This study concludes that bioresonance therapy can markedly improve non-organic gastro-intestinal complaints. “Placebo-controlled study of the effects of a standardized MORA bioresonance therapy on functional gastrointestinal complaints”. National Center for Biotechnology Information/Pub Med. February 2006.
Allergies And Related Conditions, Such As Eczema And Asthma. This article concludes that classical bioresonance therapy is clinically effective in treating allergies in children. “Bioresonance therapy with children suffering from allergies—An overview about clinical reports” M. Galle, European Journal of Integrative Medicine, Volume 1, Issue 4, 2009.
Rheumatoid Arthritis. This study indicates that bioresonance therapy is able to activate nonspecific protective mechanisms in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. “Effect of bioresonance therapy on antioxidant system in lymphocytes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis”, September 2002. National Center for Biotechnology Information/Pub Med.
Some practitioners believe Bioresonance Therapy may be able to treat and improve other health conditions such as chronic pain and stress-related ailments. Bioresonance therapy is believed to offer an alternative for individuals seeking complementary therapies.
How Long Does Bioresonance Therapy Take?
A typical Bioresonance Therapy session takes around 60 minutes, however the initial session may be longer (up to 2 hours). Treatment may involve multiple sessions depending on the severity of the condition.
During treatment you can expect to be situated either in a seated or lying down position with various applicators placed at the forehead, hands, feet, back, and over organ areas. These applicators are connected to the bioresonance device to record and deliver information. Harmonious frequency patterns can then be amplified, while disharmonic ones can be neutralised.
What Are The Benefits Of Bioresonance Treatment?
Bioresonance is known to be a painless and non-invasive treatment process which makes it ideal for many applications – some of the other benefits of bioresonance are:
Aims To Identify The Underlying Cause. Instead of just looking at the symptoms, bioresonance practitioners are trained to understand that illness starts with the cells and to look for what might be causing stress in the body.
It's A Non-Invasive Treatment. Working in harmony with the body, bioresonance has been reported to have no adverse side effects and is described as a low risk complementary therapy.
Works On All Age Groups And Even Animals. Bioresonance has been used around the world for patients of all ages including fetuses still in the womb. It can also be safely used on animals.
It’s Drug Free! There are no pharmaceutical drugs used in the treatment process.
Can Be An Effective Diagnostic Aid. A bioresonance practitioner isn't going to declare your diagnosis on the spot, but they may be able to help in identifying unknown causes of health issues you are experiencing or at the very least point you in the right direction.
Personalised Treatment Plans. Every individual is unique, and so are their health needs. Bioresonance therapy lends itself well to tailored solutions to optimise healing.
Works As A Complementary Addition To Traditional Medicine. Bioresonance therapy works well alongside traditional medical treatments. It can be viewed as a way to enhance their effectiveness in a patient’s overall treatment plan.
For those seeking an alternative approach to health and wellbeing, bioresonance therapy can offer a non-invasive, drug free versatile option for treating various conditions.
